What's new in equipment and tool control?
Now, the operating time of not only saws but also cutter heads, debarker rotors, and knives on these units is recorded, thus, all major sawmill machines are covered.
Repair tracking (with identification of the person performing the repair) has been added for new tools.
Operator assistance and faster measurement control.
Operators have been provided with a prompt system for sawing patterns assembling. The "Measurement Control" section makes analyzing dimensions before entering a new sawing pattern into production faster and more convenient. There's no longer a need to memorize measurements: data is easily recorded using a Bluetooth caliper, automatically saved, and processed in the program. This reduces preparation time for sawing and minimizes human error.
Maintenance planning and analytics.
Now there is a possibility to make a custom maintenance list for units and their components. It can be linked to various parameters, such as drive operating time, number of shifts, scanner data, and other metrics.
History of equipment performance and lumber measurement monitoring allows one to get a detailed analysis of production processes: identifying problem areas, understanding the causes of deviations, and more quickly moving toward high-quality sawing.
