At the green lumber sorting at one of the enterprises in the Vologda region, our specialists changed the conveyor synchronization system by position. The previous system worked on the basis of Sew frequency converters with special expansion boards for connecting encoders. Due to the complexity of ordering spare parts, the customer decided to replace the equipment.
The synchronization logic was written into the Siemens controller, which is responsible for the sorting technology. This allows the use of encoders and frequency converters from any manufacturers.
