In the Perm region AVTOMATIKA-VEKTOR modernized the log sorting control system based on the LT-86 timber conveyor with one-side kicking.
Sorting by diameters and lengths is carried out automatically without operator intervention. The control system, having measured the diameter and length, addresses the assortment to a specific bin, monitors its movement and at the appropriate time turns on the kicking mechanism.
The control system carries out piece and volumetric accounting of sorted wood in general and by type of assortment. An additional remote control allows the operator to sort by species and grade.
The VECTOR-1D scanner was equipped with a standard frame, which greatly simplified its installation.
